Its not very simple to choose a favorite new feature of iOS 5, announced at WWDC yesterday, but iMessage is certainly one of the name that comes into the mind first.

Those who are still unfamiler with this new app we can say is, iMessage is ’s latest SMS/MMS client app that will be transported with iOS 5 during the Fall. At the image of the iMessages displayed here we can see the lock screen with the new “slide to reply” slider.

But do we know why iMessage is important?

iMessage permits all iOS 5 users sending text messages, images, videos as well as contact information to a person or a group through Wi-Fi or 3G and since it’s not fixed to a carrier or network it just works fine with all iOS devices including iPhone, iPad and iPod touch.

iMessages are automatically synced to all iOS 5 operated devices, making it trouble-free to follow users conversations across iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. iMessage also enables delivery in addition to read receipts, typing indication plus secure end-to-end encryption.
